Addie,
I want you to know how sorry I am that I can't be there for you, but as you know I am visiting family in Baltimore. Roy was just one very nice gentleman, always willing to help anybody with anything, and a good friend to me. I'll miss him and I want you to know you're in my prayers.

Roy and you were the very first family who welcomed us when we came to St. Anne. We are thankful to God for having blessed us in knowing such loving and caring people as you and Roy. There are no words to express the depth of our feelings for your loss.

Mrs. Cunningham, SGT Cunningham was my ROTC instructor and surragate father when I was in High school. Serving under him was an honor and a pleasure. He was a wonderful man that we all will miss. He always knew what to say to a young man whose father was in the Navy at the time and needed a strong shoulder to lean on. I will always love him for that.
