Keith, I'm not sure you will read this post but I had to say something. I moved from Columbus over a year ago and I worked at Dr's Hosp. for two years. In checking the newspaper on-line; I was devastated to see that Les was gone. Not to take from the other victims because this was a senseless tragedy; but I knew Les and I was proud to know him. He never made me feel like I was anything less than important to him and I can only pray he knew how his smile and encouraging words help me on days when I didn't feel like anyone cared. I had not talked with Les since I had moved but I am saddened to know that now I can't. I miss just knowing he's no longer with us. I can only hope I touch as many lives as he has. L U Les.

Keith,
I don't have to tell you what a wonderful, loving, funny person Les was and I don't have to tell you how he always had a smile for everyone and how he brightened our days just by being here. I do want to tell you that he will be so missed! This place is not the same without him. It feels like a light has gone out and we are standing in the darkness. I pray for you, Keith...that you will not let that darkness envelope you and that God will comfort you. Les loved you more than anything or anyone. Let that knowledge comfort you, too.

Keith,
Words can not begin to express the sadness that is in my heart after such a tremendous loss. You are in my deepest thoughts and prayers. No one has to tell you what a wonderful person Les was. He did so much for so many people that the impact of this loss will be felt for months to come. Les always had a way of putting a smile on all of our faces, no matter what type of day we were having. I will miss his sense of humor, his smile, his laugh, and the kind gestures that he made. He knew how to take care of us girls on the 4th Floor, and he definitely kept us on our toes. I pray God's peace and love to you and your family at this time of bereavement.

Keith, I was a patient at Doctors Hospital for many years. There were times when I would be there for months, Leslie always made sure I was comfortable with his smile and laughter. It made my stay a little more confortable. He is a special person and I know you and all of his family will miss him dearly. I have nothing but fond memories of him. May you be strong and find comfort in knowing so many people cared for him. God Bless the staff at Doctors Hospital and all his friends and family

Keith and extended family,
There is little that offers any measure of comfort in these dark hours of unimaginable anguish and of all things words probably offer the least amount of solace. Prayerfully though, they can convey in some small way the love and light felt within. And what an amazing beacon it is that gleams within the hearts and souls of so many. It is a brilliant legacy that will ever keep us mindful of a beautiful man who lit our world with the love and light of his being. What a treasure we were all given to know Les. We will all carry the meaure of the man with us for he has indelibly marked our lives and we are all the better for it. Les knew what it means to truly love humankind even in it's innate failings. It was always in those moments when he seemed to shine the greater. We will miss his laughter, his jocularity and his amazing life force but how blessed we are for having known him. Our prayers are for God's love, peace and healing grace to find you all. If you have need of anything you simply need to ask.
