Marvin Coe Obituary

Marvin Lee Coe November 5, 1943 - June 27, 2004 PHENIX CITY, AL - Marvin Lee Coe, 60, of Phenix City, died Sunday, June 27 at The Medical Center. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 30 at Evergreen Memory Gardens with the Rev. Tony Smith officiating, according to Colonial Funeral Home, 613 14th Street in Phenix City. Visitation will be this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Coe was born Nov. 5, 1943 in Lee County, Ala., the son of the late Versie Pinkston Coe and Lawsey Coe. He was in the U.S. Army and served during Vietnam. Mr. Coe was an automobile mechanic and a Baptist by faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolly Coe. Survivors include a daughter, Margie Enfinger of Columbus; a son, Kenny Coe of Columbus; two sisters, Mavis Shores of Phenix City and Shirley Herrington of Spring, Texas; a brother, Earl Coe of North Carolina; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
