ORLANDO, FL- Family Services will be held Saturday, March 31st at 3:00 pm Graveside at Park Hill Cemetery in Columbus, GA with a personal message and prayer with Pastor James Gant and special vocal dedication by Allyson Huggins.
Michael Paul Tipton, 53, of Orlando, Fl, by way of Columbus, Ga, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2012 at Florida Hospital East Orlando. He was born on March 13, 1959 in Stuttgart, Germany to the late Otha Paul Tipton and Barbara Bruce Davis Tipton. He was a Valedictorian graduate from Spencer High School with full scholarships in 1977. He received his BSN in Nursing and for many years he practiced at Sumter Regional Hospital, Americus, Ga and Dooley Medical Center, Vienna, Ga.
Survivors include his loving wife of 25 years, Patti Vickers Tipton and his pride and joy, light of his life, daughter Riley Hope Tipton both of Orlando, Fl, 3 sisters, Vicki Rourk Easton, Connie Eger (Eric LeBlanc), Pamela Collier (Robert Feathers) all of Columbus, Ga., 1 brother, Philip Tipton (Ann) of Cataula, Ga, 5 nephews, Victor Rourk (Jamie), Nicholas Rourk (Heather), and Jerry Collier (Katie Sievers) of Columbus, Ga, Chris Wade (Jenny), and Gaylon Wade of Cataula, Ga , 3 great nieces, Crystal Wade McCrady and Ashley Wade of Cataula, Ga, Savannah Rourk of Columbus, Ga, 4 great nephews, Justin, Jantz, Nathan Rourk, William "Landon" Collier of Columbus, Ga, and Cory Wade of Cataula, Ga. 1 great-great nephew Carson McCrady of Cataula, Ga.
He was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Cousin Mike, can't believe you are gone. Just by chance I tried to look you and Vicki, Connie, Pam and Phillip up on Facebook and found out you were gone. I have been trying to organize a family reunion. Sorry we all got so far apart over the years. Should not have been that way. Had so many good times when we were little. Was not mentioned in your obituary that you had 13 crazy cousins! From me and Darlene, we love you and know what a great person you were.

I have been around you since the day you was born. We played together, fought, laughed and grew up together. Times were sometimes very hard for all of us. Mike you excelled in everything you did. Everyone was very proud of you. For 53 years I had you as my brother what am I supposed to do now? I will always have you in my thoughts and heart. I am praying for you as you had to leave so many people you loved and that loved you behind. Till we are together again.

I was with you from the day you were born. We laughed together cried together and grew up together. Times were sometime very hard for all
of us but we made it. You excelled in everything you tried. We al were so proud of you and we al loved you dearly. Not a day goes by that I do not miss you and wish you was here. I pray for you everyday and for the people you had to leave behind.
