Columbus, Georgia - Michelle Antionette Whitaker Taylor, 49, of Columbus passed Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Piedmont Medical Center. Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Sconiers Funeral Home Chapel. Michelle was born in Columbus, daughter of Edsel Whitaker, JR of Radcliff, KY and Judy Gail Ingersoll Chambers of Columbus. She was a 1990 graduate of G.W. Carver High School and later attended Columbus Technical College where she studied Phlebotomy. She was a Phlebotomy Instructor for 1st Step Health Agency. In addition to her parents, survivors include: her husband, James Duran Taylor; two sons, Jacorius David and Diante David; one daughter, Jacara Taylor; one sister, Kenya (Demarcus) Jones; three grandchildren, Kailani Lewis, Jecari David and Damari David; a niece and nephew and a host of loving aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.

Ms Judy, Tray, Jacori,Kenya, and other family members I am sorry for your loss. I hadn´t spoken to Chelle in a while. Every time we talked it was as if there was no break between us seeing or speaking to one another. I´m glad you are no longer in pain.
