Miriam Arnold Obituary

Miriam Bonner Arnold July 10, 1921- July 22, 2006 ROANOKE, AL— Funeral services for Mrs. Miriam Bonner Arnold, of Roanoke, formerly of Columbus, GA., age 85, will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. CST from Quattlebaum Funeral Chapel with Rev. Richard Richie officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memory Gardens with Quattlebaum Funeral Home in Roanoke in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 until 8 p.m. CST on Monday, July 24, 2006. Mrs. Arnold died Saturday, July 22, 2006 at LaGrange Hospice. Survivors include two daughters, Shelia Arnold of Roanoke, April (husband Denver) Edwards of Salem; three sons, James (wife Susan) Arnold of Waverly Hall, GA., Lee (wife Judy) Arnold of Cooper City, FL., Terry (wife Anne) Arnold of Huntington Beach, CA.; one sister, Kay Brown of Roanoke; four brothers, John Bonner of Valley, Buddy Bonner of Anniston, Lee Bonner of Ashland, Lewis Bonner of Donaldsonville, GA.; four grandchildren, Richard and Kristy Richie, Jacob and Beth Edwards; two great grandchildren. Mrs. Arnold was born July 10, 1921, daughter of Earl S. and Peggy Louise Terry Bonner. She was a member of the Midway United Methodist Church, Columbus, GA. and had been a homemaker. Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by her husband, James Edwin "Ed" Arnold; two brothers, Darrell and Ulmont Bonner; three sister, Helen Haralson, Hazel Bonner and Anne Avery. Flowers will be accepted or donations made to West GA. Hospice, 1510 Vernon Road, LaGrange, GA. 30240; Midway United Methodist Church, 4442 Buena Vista Road, Columbus, GA. 31907.
