Myrtle P. Givens July 22, 1909 April 16, 2006 PHENIX CITY, AL— Myrtle P. Givens, 96, of Phenix City, AL died Sunday, April 16, 2006 at her residence. Graveside funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, April 19, 2006 at Lakeview Memory Gardens with Pastor Tommy Carstens officiating. Visitation will be this evening from 6 till 8 p.m. at Colonial Funeral Home, 613 14th St., Phenix City. Mrs. Givens was born July 22, 1909 in Headland, AL., daughter of the late John Henry and Mary Brown Peterson. She was retired from Bibb Manufacturing Co. She was a baptist by faith. She was preceded in death by her husband William A. Givens, sister, Madge Mixon and brothers Marvin Peterson, Herman Peterson, and Henry Peterson. Mrs. Givens is survived by her children, Agnes Chadwick of Phenix City, Carnell Givens of Wellborn, FL, Carthel Givens of Crestview, FL, James W. Givens and wife Judith Ann of Columbus, GA; brother, James H. Peterson of Phenix City; sisters, Verdell Hudgins of Hoover, AL, Waver Spears of Ponce De Leon, FL and Joyce P. Trammell of Headland, AL; grandchildren, Katie C. White, Judy C. Grimes, Jimmy Givens, Dawn G. Gaona, Robert Givens, Brandi Clarke, Gregory Givens, Theresa G. Smith, Cynthia G.
