Owen Miles July 2, 1933- August 5, 2007 PITTSVIEW, AL— Mr. Owen Miles, 74, of 235 Upshaw Flat Road, Pittsview, AL. died August 5, 2007 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, AL. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 11, 2007 at Antioch Baptist Church, Pittsview, AL. with the Rev. J.D. Upshaw officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be today from 9 until 11 a.m., according to Taylor Funeral Home. Mr. Miles was born July 2, 1933 in Russell County, AL., son of the late Alice Miles and Robert Miles Sr. He was a carpenter and a member of Antioch Baptist Church in Pittsview, AL. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marie Miles, Pittsview, AL.; one daughter, Shirley Miles, Columbus, GA.; one brother, Royzell (Eddie Mae) Miles, Gary, IN.; five sisters, Eva L. (Henry) Comer, E. Chicago, IN., Carrie P. Bellamy, Gary, IN., Prudence Scott, Gary, IN., Mary A. (Shelly) Davis, Queens, NY., Anne Miles, Hobart, IN.; one grandchild, Seleeth Moore, Hatchechubee, AL.
