Columbus, GA- Mr. Paul Harrow, Jr. passed Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at his residence. Funeral services will be 11:00AM Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Peter's Chapel AME Church, 4710 Steam Mill Road Columbus with the Rev. Sherryl Snead Pastor officiating. Interment will follow at Green Acres Cemetery 1485 Schatulga Road with military honors. Visitation will be from 1:00PM-6:00PM Friday, August 21, 2015 at the funeral home according to Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service LLC. 2919 Hamilton Road. Mr. Harrow was born November 2, 1927 in Renfroe, Georgia, to the union of the late Paul and Rosie Lee Brown Harrow Sr. He was educated in the Muscogee County School system attending Radcliff Elementary School until the 11th grade. Mr. Harrow was a veteran of the United States Army. At an early age he accepted Christ, joining the Peter's Chapel AME Church where he served as Superintendant of Sunday School, a Trustee and many other positions. He was preceeded in death by his loving wife of 41 years Viola Harrow, brothers Robert Harrow and Rufus Harrow, sisters Grace Hopkins and Susie Lee McCray and a special granddaughter Marketta Harrow-Terrell. Left to cherish his memories are sons; Paul Harrow III, Jerome Harrow, Rickey Harrow, John Harrow and Benjamin Harrow, daughters; Josephine Johnson Harrow, and Constance Harrow Wallace, sisters; Jessie Lee Willford, Willie Belle Harrow and Roberta Harris, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grand children a host of nieces, nephews and friends

As the days and weeks, years pass, and as you return to life's routine Benjamin may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. It´s been 8 years but seem just like yesterday I heard of your dad´s transition.May he Rest in Heavenly Peace & now reunited with Viola Harrow.My deepest condolences to the Harrow family.As his children called themselves "popsicles" referring to their dad " Popsicle" because he was so cool.

I want to say sorry for the family loss I remember him he use to right the same bus with me sometimes and I use to see him walking in my area alot and he would look really nice in his suits all the time with his nice hat all the time I did not know he had pass away I wonder where was he at cuss I had stop seeing him he was a nice man to talk to my deepest sympathies to the family god bless him and the family.
