Phenix City, AL - Perrie "Gail" Greene Kennedy, 54, of Phenix City, AL passed away peacefully early Thursday morning, October 30, 2014 in the comfort of her home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm EDT Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Vance Memorial Chapel in Phenix City with Rev. Grant Parker officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service and also after the funeral service at Gail's mother's home in Smiths Station. A private interment will follow at a later date.
Gail was born October 25, 1960 in Columbus, GA to Elner "Ruth" Johnson Greene and the late Perry Lee Greene. She was employed with Aflac with 20 years of dedicated service and attended Epworth United Methodist Church in Phenix City. She enjoyed movies, traveling, ocean cruises, bowling, and fun and fellowship with family and friends. Other than her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Lee Greene.
She is survived by her mother, Elner "Ruth" Johnson Greene of Smiths Station, AL; sons, Shaun Kennedy and wife Dana of Phenix City, AL and Chris Kennedy of Smiths Station, AL, step-son, Robert Kennedy of Columbus, GA; sister of precious choice, Jeanni Cummings and husband Frank of Dublin, GA.
Two adoring grandchildren, Delilah Rose Kennedy and Amira Stroud Kennedy, a very special little friend, Destiny Kennedy, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and many caring friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to the Ronald McDonald House in Columbus, GA in memory of Gail Kennedy.

It was an absolute pleasure knowing such a beautiful, spirited soul. I was always amazed at her positive attitude no matter what the outcome was. Wish this earth could have been blessed with Gail a little longer, but know she is no longer in pain. Welcome home, Gail. XO
