To the Brooks family - Phil and I grew up on the same street in Morningside and attended schools together graduating in 1963. As someone else stated, Phil would light up any room when he entered and I know those memories will comfort you in the days ahead. My prayers are with you today and the days that follow. God bless each of you and give you strength.

Phil Brooks could and did, change any room when he entered it. He loved his family and they loved him. I found him to be an 'encourager' and I valued and appreciated his friendship.
