Ronald Dennis Baxter January 5, 1947- May 1, 2007 PHENIX CITY, AL— Ronald Dennis Baxter, Age 60, a resident of Phenix City, AL., died on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at his residence. Funeral services are scheduled at the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus on Friday, May 4, 2007, 11 A.M. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, May 3, 2007 from 6-8 P.M. Mr. Baxter, son of the late Reuben Carlton Baxter and Grace Viloree Watson, was born January 5, 1947 in Columbus. He was a painting contractor for several years in the area. Other than his parents, Mr. Baxter was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Grace Baxter and a brother, Roger Wayne Baxter. He is survived by two daughters, Natalie Elizabeth Baxter Lahnan and Wendy Elizabeth Baxter of Phenix City; three sons, Ronald Christopher Baxter Lahnan, Ryan Dennis Baxter Lahnan, and Ronald Dennis Baxter, Jr. or Phenix City, AL.; two sisters, Sandra Elizabeth Baxter Patterson and her husband James of Columbus, Debbie Lynn Baxter Robison and her husband Jerry of Montgomery, AL.; one brother, Raymond Jerry Baxter and his wife Tina of Buena Vista, GA.; former wife and friend, Denise Baxter of Phenix City, AL.; seven nephews; four nieces; other relatives and friends.
