Rosa Owens-Brown August 3, 1914- May 14, 2007 EUFAULA, AL— Mrs. Rosa Owens-Brown, 92, of 41 Mandy Road, Eufaula, AL. died May 14, 2007 at East Alabama Medical Center. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. C.S.T. Saturday at Shady Grove Baptist Church, Battle Community, AL. with the Rev. Christopher Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, according to Taylor Funeral Home. Mrs. Owens-Brown was born August 3, 1914 in Russell County, AL., daughter of the late Mandy Owens and Walker Owens. She was a domestic worker and a member of Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Battle Community, AL. Mrs. Brown leaves to cherish her precious memory three daughters, Minnie (Clinton Jr.) Upshaw, Lima, OH., Victoria (Homer) Grant, Eufaula, AL., Beverly Brown, Eufaula, AL.; Rev. Christopher Brown; a devoted grandson whom she reared as her own; a special nephew, James Robert Hill Jr. of Lima, OH.; one devoted daughter in law, Eloise Battle of Ft. Myers, FL.; thirteen grandchildren; fifty nine great grandchildren; forty two great great grandchildren.
