Columbus, Georgia - Mrs. Ruth Ann (Albright)Harvey transitioned home on Sunday, May 8, 2022, at Piedmont North Columbus Hospital she was 73 years old. Ruth was born June 18,1948, in Augusta, GA to Luther and Evelyn F. Albright. Celebration of Life Services will be 2:00PM Saturday, May 14, 2022 in the chapel at Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Services, 1605 3rd Avenue, Columbus,706-327-9293 with Patrick Albright, eulogist. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery, 4161 Macon Road, Columbus. Visitation will be today, Friday, May 13, 2022 from 4:00PM-6:00PM at the funeral home, social distancing, face covering requirements observed. Ruth received Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and was a faithful member of Twelve Disciples Missionary Baptist Church. Before retiring in 2015 she worked in Hospitality for over 20 years. She's preceded in death by her parents, her husband James Harvey Jr., son, John L. Albright and grandson, BonJoshua Albright. Ruth leaves to cherish her memories: three daughters; Pamela (Roderic) Morrison, Kathleen, GA, Sharon (Randall) Merriweather, Augusta, GA and Nancy Wyatt of Columbus, GA; three sons Jimmy Albert and Patrick (LaTonya) Albright, Columbus, GA, Willie DeLoach of Augusta, GA. Her beloved dog, Stoney; four sisters, Catherine Albright, Mary E. Johnson, Maude Mae Jackson, and Geneva Albright; two daughters of love Rhonda Morrison and Angela Burrell; two close friends Mary Ann Smith and Doretha Williams; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
