To the Hubbard Family,
Sherrel was a wonderful high school classmate. My fondest memory was her being Miss ROTC. I last saw her at our 20th or 30th year high school reunion. I know that you will miss her, but please know that she will always live in your hearts.

There are no words that can express how much I will miss you mom. I love you always. Can you let my mom know that I love her too? So long beautiful dove

Auntie, I was with you as you took your last breath. As hard as it was to watch you slip away, it was such a blessing to witness your transition. Tomorrow you will be laid to rest and I will try my hardest to celebrate your life instead of mourn our loss. The battle you fought was a hard one and it makes my heart smile to know that you are no longer suffering. I love you and you will never be forgotten.

I miss you already...You fought this fight with a strength and a courage that I will forever admire! You were more a loving auntie than a cousin and for that I am eternally grateful. Your love, encouragement, and support greatly impacted my life. I take comfort in knowing you no longer have to suffer. Sherrel, I love you but God loves you more and as such has called you home. To my family - let's continue to love and support each other and allow God to grant us peace and comfort during this difficult time.

To the Stephens and Hubbard family, I would like to extend my deepest sympathy. As a youngster, I remember Sherrel as being a loving big sister to her younger siblings; and she was always kind to me. Your family was blessed to have her as a part of your lives.

Mother Hubbard has received the greatest promotion. God has accepted her into His Pearly Gates. Now Heaven is where she will await. She has passed many tests. Her body is now at rest. Her wings will catch your tears as they fall. Seek Him and He will hear your beckon call. She wants you to rejoice and be glad. She would not dare want you to be sad. She has fought a tough fight. Everything now is all right. Because, peace is still, peace is still.
