Terry Littlejohn Obituary

Terry Littlejohn May 6, 1955- January 4, 2005 COLUMBUS, GA— Terry Littlejohn, 49, of 5817 Cameo Court, Columbus, died Tuesday at Columbus Hospice House. Visitation will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. Friday at Hill-Watson Memorial Chapel, 2919 Hamilton Road, Columbus, with family hour from 6 to 7. Mr. Littlejohn's remains will be forwarded to Foster Funeral Home of Gaffney, S.C., for final arrangements and disposition. Mr. Littlejohn was born on May 6, 1955 in Cherokee County, S.C., son of Fannie Montgomery Littlejohn and Bennie Littlejohn, of Gaffney, S.C. He was a Machinest Technician for Oneda Metal Stamping Corporation. He was a resident of Columbus for the past sixteen years and a U.S. Army Veteran. He attended public schools of Gaffney, S.C., and had further studies at Columbus Technical College, where he became a Certified Machinist. Survivors other than his parents include his wife, Donna M. Littlejohn of Columbus; sons, Terry Littlejohn and Demitius Littlejohn, both of Columbus; a daughter, Iyatta Littlejohn of Columbus; brothers, Bennie Littlejohn, Jr., (Verna), Carlton Littlejohn (Tammie), both of Gaffney, S.C.; sisters, the Rev. Celina Lindsey (Ernest), Joanne Ellis (Maurice), Brenda Marlowe (David), Guynita Littlejohn, Lisa Littlejohn, all of Gaffney; grandchildren, Uniqua Littlejohn, Tierra Littlejohn, Jy'Uana Littlejohn, Jalaysia Littlejohn, all of Columbus; several other relatives and friends.

Littlejohn, Lillie and I have very loving memories of our old army days we miss you dearly just last year this time we were shocked to find that you had past away we know youre in a better place now. Peace be with donna and the kids again we miss you I guess we always will Always SSG SPOON

Donna, And Kids, Lillie and I are so sorry about Terry, May God be with you in your time of mourning, I truly loved JOHN as I called him, He was a good friend of mine, We went thru alot together,he was my platoon sargent, back in the day and we kept things together, times got hard and we stuck it out Im gonna miss him, and take care.
