Thomas Edward Berryhill

Thomas Edward Berryhill April 21, 1929- February 20, 2005 COLUMBUS, GA— Mr. Thomas Edward Berryhill, 75, died Sunday, Feb. 20 at his home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 23, at 11 a.m. at McMullen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Vernon Prather officiating. Interment will follow in Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery, Marion County, Ga., according to McMullen Funeral Home, 3874 Gentian Blvd., Columbus. Visitation will be held this evening from 6 until 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Berryhill was born April 21, 1929, in Memphis, Tenn., son of the late Rufus Berryhill and Betty Hilliard Berryhill. He was an electrical engineer for Light, Gas and Water Division of Memphis, Tenn. He also worked as a security guard in Memphis. In 1978, he moved to Columbus, where he was a school bus driver for Marion County and was an EMT for Marion County EMS for ten years. He was a member of Kirkland Memorial Baptist Church, Columbus, and a former member of Oakland Baptist Church, Marion County. He enjoyed fishing. He is survived by his wife, Annie Berryhill of Columbus; a son, Tom Berryhill and his wife Diana of Columbus; two grandchildren, Brian Berryhill, U.S. Army and his wife Mona, Korea, and Jon Michael Berryhill and his wife Tammy of Sharpsburg, Ga.; five great-grandchildren.
