Columbus, GA- Mr. Timothy Wayne Wardlaw passed away peacefully Sunday at Columbus Hospice. He was 63 years of age.
The son of Mrs. Claudia Daniel Wardlaw of Columbus and the late Charles Wardlaw, Timothy was a native of Columbus who was a 1972 graduate of Hardaway High School. He attended Tuskegee Institute (University) and was a member of M. L. Harris United Methodist Church. He was retired from TSYS, Inc.
Survivors, other than his mother, include: his devoted wife of 37 years, Mrs. Brenda Hardrick Wardlaw; a son, Darius Wardlaw (Elba); two sisters, Tracey Wardlaw Mills and Terri Wardlaw; his mother-in-law, Mrs. Lillie C. Hardrick; beloved in-laws, Anita Wheeler (Gene), Bonnie Kaufman, Dorothy Dailey, Betty Hardrick-Landers and Robert Hardrick (Lorraine); a host of loving nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
The Homegoing Celebration for Mr. Wardlaw will be held, Friday, March 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside at Green Acres Cemetery with Rev. Donald Mathis officiating. The visitation will begin Thursday, March 22, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. with a Family Hour from 6 til 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
