Ulma Holloway April 25, 1933- December 12, 2006 COLUMBUS, GA— Ulma Holloway, Age 73, resident of Columbus, died on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at St. Francis Hospital. Funeral services are scheduled at the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Columbus on Friday, December 15, 2006, 2 P.M. with Rev. Udell Addison and Rev. James Strickland officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, December 14, 2006 from 6-8 P.M. Mr. Holloway, son of the late Samuel James Holloway and Mary Horne Holloway, was born April 25, 1933 in Columbus. He was a longtime member of Central Baptist Church and a member of the Gatekeepers Gospel Group. Mr. Holloway was retired from Columbus Productions. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael Ulma Holloway and two brothers, George Holloway and Billy Ralph Holloway. Mr. Holloway is survived by his wife Maude S. Holloway of Columbus; five daughters, Rebecca Holloway of Fortson, GA., Amy H. Singell and her husband Tim of Douglasville, GA., Sue Driggers of Columbus, Becky Chester and her husband Jim of Phenix City, AL., and Jane McGowan of Columbus; two sons, Jimmy Holloway and his wife Lynn of Columbus, and David McLain and his wife Judy of Phenix City, AL.; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
