Victor Watt Obituary

Victor A. Watt November 24, 1967 - September 29, 2004 LAS VEGAS, NV - Mr. Victor Antonio Watt, 36, of Las Vegas, formerly of Columbus, died Wednesday in Las Vegas. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. today at Greater Peace Baptist Church with interment at Green Acres Cemetery, according to Progressive Funeral Home, Inc. Visitation is today from 9 to 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home and from noon to 1 p.m. at the church. The family will receive friends at 143 Mays Avenue and the cortege will depart from that address today at 12:30 p.m. Born in Columbus on Nov. 24, 1967, Mr. Watt was a son of Mrs. Annie Ruth Henderson Watt and Mr. Willie George Watt (Bettie), both of Columbus. He was a 1985 graduate of Spencer High School. He received his B.S. Degree in Chemistry from Albany State University and was pursuing his Masters Degree at the University of Las Vegas, where he had resided for the past eight years. Mr. Watt was a Director and Kindergarten teacher at Kids Campus Learning Center in Las Vegas. He was a member of Mountain Top Faith Church, was a former member of Canaan Baptist Church and attended Greater Peace Baptist Church. He was a Captain in the U.S. National Guard. Surviving other than his parents are his wife and daughter, Tonjer T. Watt and Victoria A. Watt, both of Douglas, Ga.; two sisters, Linda D. Ingram (Curtis) of Hope Hills, N.C., and Kimberly O. Aguirre (Stephen) of Columbus; one brother, Vincent A. Watt (Victoria) of Columbus; one niece, six nephews, three aunts, one uncle, and a host of other relatives and friends.
