February 14, 1982 - May 20, 2023
Riverdale, Georgia - Victoria Suzann Jessie passed away on Saturday morning, May 20, 2023 at age 41. The daughter of Richard A.(Dorothy) Jessie and Iris Buckner Jessie, she was also the sister of Richard A. Walker and Rachel A. Jessie and auntie of Island Jessie. Ms. Jessie was recently employed as Marketing Manager at Finders Keepers Body Piercing in Norfolk, VA and had extensive experience in community planning, business and consulting and had a Master's Degree in Public Administration. She was the owner of The Peach Mermaid Bake Shop International. Although we lost Victoria suddenly, unexpectedly and are heartbroken, we pray for the strength and grace to persevere. We will remember her beautiful smile and spirit as we thank God for the time He gave her to us. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 12:00Noon at Greater Shady Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 3000 12th Avenue, Columbus, GA. Interment will follow at Green Acres Cemetery, 1485 Shatulga Road, Viewing at the church will end at 11:50 AM. A family and public viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 from 3:00PM-7:00PM at Hill-Watson-People's Funeral Service LLC, 1605 3rd Avenue, Columbus, GA 706-327-9293.
