Seale, AL- Willie Joe Busby, 51 of Seale, AL died Thursday March 5, 2015 at his home. Funeral services will be held 3:30 P.M. Tusday, March 10, 2015 in Lakewood Hall of Striffler-Hamb, Phenix City, L. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Busby was born December 19, 1963 in Columbus, Georgia; son of the late Jamie and Bobbie Busby. He was currently employed with Snyder's Lance Corporation with 25 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Busby of Seale, AL, daughter, Hollie Busby of Seale, AL, sons, Josh Busby of Florida, Kevin Elkins (Julie Jenkins) of Crawford, AL, grandchildren, Kaleigh Elkins, Alexis Elkins, Marley Busby and Jakobi Busby.

Life's to short to have hate in your heart. Willie liked everyone. I am thankful for Willie I'm thankful he was there to hold my daughter Lacey. I'm thankful he helped me threw something so hard. I'm thankful he met my children and always went to tell them hey. I'm thankful for all the times he made me smile threw out all the years he was man that was in my life right next door. Someone who just made the day light up with his jokes. Take a care of Lacey for me. I'm going to miss messing with you while your checking the mail . ducking and acting crazy.. When I blew the horn and drove by... We all love you. We will miss you.

I am so sorry to hear of Willie's passing. We went to school together and later in life i worked with him at Toms foods he was a wonderful man. My condolences to his family may god be with you all in this time of your loss. Prayers for you all. Rest peacefully Willie.

Willie will be missed. This is not how you are supposed to reconnect with high school friends. He looks like he lived life to the fullest. He was always fun to be around. I believe we even had a couple of double dates with our high school sweethearts. Many memories going through my mind right now. God bless the Busby family. Only the good die young.

Condolences to Willie's family. I went to high school with him and hadn't seen him in many years, but I always considered him a friend. Rest assured he's looking down at all of us with that unmistakable "Willie grin".

I'm so glad I was able to visit with Willie at our last Harris County's Class of 83 reunion. I have some great pictures from his senior year if the family would like to see them. My prayers for his family and close friends.

Sharon, you and the family are in my thoughts and prayers. Willie always had a way of making people laugh even in the hardest of times at Lance. He sure made our lives easier on the Ace line. He will be missed. Rest in peace, Willie B and just for you, I will say it just once "ROLL TIDE ROLL."
