Willie Luttrell Obituary

Willie Luttrell May 7, 1956 - May 10, 2004 COLUMBUS, GA - Mrs. Willie Luttrell (Ja Mae), 48, of 675 6th Avenue Apt. B-7 (Liberty Gardens), Columbus, died Monday, May 10 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, May 17 at New Mt. Olive Baptist Church, 2311 Dawson Street in Columbus, with the Rev. Columbus Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery in Columbus. Visitation will be today at J.W. Jones Funeral Home, 1015 13th Street in Columbus from 12:30 p.m. until 5 p.m. Processional will depart from the residence at 12 Noon. Mrs. Luttrell was born May 7, 1956 in Muscogee County, Ga., the daughter of Mary J. Luttrell of Columbus and the late John Luttrell. At an early age, she confessed Christ and united with the family at New Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Columbus. Her favorite hobbies were cooking and music. She was a loving daughter, mother and grandmother to her family who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Survivors include a son, Ron Luttrell of Atlanta, Ga.; two daughters, Raquel Luttrell of College Park, Ga., and Patrice Luttrell of Columbus; four brothers, Larry Luttrell of Columbus, Terry (Ren) Luttrell of Fayetteville, N.C., Tony (Janet) Luttrell and Curtis Luttrell, both of Columbus; three sisters, Gloria Luttrell of Columbus, Shirley Luttrell of Atlanta, Ga., and Angie (Rick) Washington of Oklahoma; two grandchildren; an uncle, Robert (Mary) Johnson of Columbus; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
