Alex Blackburn Obituary

Alex J Thomas Blackburn

New Ipswich, NH — Alex J Thomas Blackburn, 31, of New Ipswich, NH passed away unexpectedly on July 10th, 2021. Alex was born on November 29th, 1989 in Portland, Oregon. He moved to NH where he met and then married the love of his life Cheyenne on November 17th, 2013. Alex was always a determined person and no matter what life threw at him he always kept pushing himself. It was that determination that helped with the decision to go to Teen Challenge in NH where he grew in his relationship with God. There he was able to find healing and hope for his future. While attending Teen Challenge he worked hard to finally get his high school diploma which he received on May 21st, 2021. Alex was passionate about work and found his dream job working for the Iron Workers Union while he lived in WA. He always said it was one job he would do for free because he loved it so much. He was able to follow that dream again and worked for a short time with the Boston Iron Workers Union. Alex had a love for adventures and would go on them with his wife and daughters every chance he had. He impacted the lives all around him and was a loyal friend to whoever was in need. All Alex wanted out of life was to love God, his family, and for his life to be a crazy adventure. He is survived by his wife Cheyenne (Somero) Blackburn and their girls, Arabella and Aria. His mom Andrea Harris, his stepdad Craig Harris, his dad Thomas Pesonen, and his three brothers Scott & Steven Pesonen, and Mathew Doshier. His sister Layne Doshier and his two step sisters Emily & Madaline McKernan. His grandmother Alice Hill Blackburn and grandfather John Pesonen. A celebration of life will be held at Outreach Church located at 199 North St, Rindge, NH on July 24th, 2021 at 11am. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to Teen Challenge NH.

As I was reading this obituary I was saddened by the loss of Alex. I did not know him so at this time I would like to send you my condolences. Death is a sad time in our lives especially when the ones we love you are so young. Ask for comfort in God´s strength, because only he can help us get through these hard times that lay ahead of us at this time. In God´s word the Bible he gives us comforting news that we will see our dead love ones again. Have a good day.
