Barbara and I entered kindergarten together, at PS # 22 , in the fall of 1950, we went to st Clare Academy together, from 1959-1963, and we also both went to Oneonta in 1963. We rode many miles together on Steve Liston's bus back and forth to school. Her mom, Maxine was my Girl Scout leader. Our fathers were friends and neighbors and helped to make our community a wholesome and good place to grow up in. There are so many common denominators in our histories and I will always remember Barbara as a very deep, quiet, thoughtful, sensitive , kind girl.... we were girls together... we lost touch after 1964. But i was always grateful for her help in intermediate algebra
Another thing we had in common was our faith. Every day before we trudged up the 2 or 3 flights to our home room classroom, we made a quick visit to the chapel on the 1st floor . Especially if we were having a test that day!
Happy sailing Barbara

I knew Barbara from St. Peter's Parish in Peterborough. She was always interested in ways to improve the religious education program there;she encouraged creativity though she was always practical. She loved her children and grandchildren so much. I have not seen her for some time, and I hope she was enjoying some fine sailing!

We will always remember Barbara and years of Sailing together. She was a strong influence in promoting group rendezvous.
