She was predeceased by her lifelong partner, Donald (Woody) Wood, formerly of Antrim, and Dalton; her parents, Freeman Isham and Isabel (Widger) Isham and her 'favorite' brother, Richard Isham, formerly of Bristol, Conn.

Barbara worked at Crotched Mountain in Greenfield for 30 years and at Shaws Supermarket in Lancaster. Barbara and Woody enjoyed many hours viewing and feeding wildlife in the backyard of their home on French Road in Dalton.
