Hancock, NH - Cindy Bunker (70) passed away at home on January 30, 2026.

Cynthia (Cindy) Kenerson Bunker was born on March 25, 1955, in Laconia, New Hampshire, to Maurice Paige and Elsie Corning (Kenerson) Bunker. From a young age, she loved animals and spending time with her dad, with whom she shared a special bond. As a young girl, she would sit on his lap on the tractor while he hayed, and would later miss school just to see him, as he worked the 3 pm-12 am shift. She also enjoyed spending time with her "Grandma Bunk" in Concord. She spent her growing-up years in both Belmont and Tilton, New Hampshire, and graduated from Tilton High School. During her youth, she was actively involved in 4H and regularly showed in horse shows; she also enjoyed playing field hockey in high school. After high school, she attended Keene State College, where she studied business, then worked at and managed a local grocery store before opening Gracie's Grain, which she owned and operated until 2024. She enjoyed the store and the friends and customers who would frequent it; each was greeted by one of her dogs or cats.

Cindy Bunker was a beloved aunt, great-aunt, and friend. She will always be remembered for her love of animals and special ability to bond and communicate with them; she respected them, and they respected her. She especially loved golden retrievers, but came to love "Nan", her final companion, who entered her life through a dear friend just a few years ago. She will also be remembered by her nephews and nieces for her exciting stories, which often included a speeding ticket or some other adventurous element. Her ability to be herself, no matter where or with whom, was a breath of fresh air and a gift treasured by those who knew her.

She is predeceased by her parents; brothers, Maurice Bunker Jr. and Hollis Bunker Sr.; sister, Priscilla Bunker; sister-in-law, Sally Bunker (Clough); and her nephew, Hollis Bunker Jr. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Bonnie Bunker (Corriveau); and her nephews and nieces, Paula Walling (Bunker), Sarah Smith (Bunker), Ellen Bunker, John Bunker, and Carrie Sagatis (Bunker). She is also survived by many wonderful friends who have been like family to her. We will all miss her dearly.
