Constance Viola Davis
Peterborough NH — It is with great sadness that the family of Constance Viola Davis announce her passing on October 30, 2021 at age 88 after a lengthy battle with Renal disease. Constance (Connie), was born in Westerly, RI on December 29, 1932, was a high school graduate, and later worked and retired from New Hampshire Ball Bearings Plant in Peterborough, NH. Connie loved to socialize with friends and family and loved children. She was a kind and lovable women with a big heart who routinely offered help to friends in need. She was a beloved and devoted mother of two, and a grandmother of one.
Married on January 1, 1966 to Ernest (Duke) Clayton Davis in Peterborough, NH where they lived for over 50 years. At the time of her passing she lived in Fairmount, GA with her son Michael and his wife who cared for her.
Connie leaves behind two sons, Michael Edward Davis (Geraldine Davis) and Ernest (Duke) Clayton Davis Jr., her granddaughter Sarah Jane Hobson (Bradford Hobson), and her three siblings Leverett F. Andrews, Jr. (Evelyn Andrews), Audrey I. Thorpe (Ira Thorpe), and William G. Andrews (Sharon Andrews).
Predeceased is her father Leverett Francis Andrews, mother Viola Irene (Stillman) Andrews, husband Ernest Clayton Davis, and her in-laws and their spouses.
Connie's cremains will be laid to rest a long side her husband on an undetermined date at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
