Daniel Codman Obituary
Dan loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He operated his own painting business in the area for many years and took great pride in his work. Dan made friends easily and was kind and generous to everyone. He had an infectious smile and genuinely loved the company of other people.
Dan is survived by his brothers, Edward Codman and his wife, Faith of Stoddard, N.H., Tom Codman and his partner, Kris of Temple, Michael Codman of Hancock, Harry Codman and his wife, Nippi of Thailand, and Robert Codman and his wife, Jess of Hancock. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephews; Sharon, Riley, Nora, Gavin and Oliver; as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents.
A Celebration of Dan's Life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that contributions in Dan's memory to Friends of the Loran Hanson Fishing Derby C/O Sunapee Lake Bank, P.O. Box 657, Peterborough, N.H. 03458.

Dan was my friend since first grade.i remember the first day he came to school,he was new and really shy.i went over to him and told him who I was.he sat next to my desk.i told him i would be his friend. and so we became friends. we reconnected in fb.i loved chatting with him.i once told him about my youngest grandson catching his first fish.he was 4 .Dan was more excited about it than me.and I was excited.
Dan I will miss you we all will.you were a very close friend,i will treasure the times that we hung out together.i will always remember you Dan.❣

I wish to express my sincere condolences to the Codman family and Dan's friends. I knew both of his parents and a few years ago i worked on a remodeling project in the house in Hancock where Dan grew up...May he be joyful in the presence of Our Lord ...
