David Lord Obituary
Greenville NH - David Alton Lord, 72 of Greenville, New Hampshire passed away January 22, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. He gave cancer one hell of a fight! Born January 24th, 1950, in Peterborough, NH to George and Hazel (Clary). Dave was 1 of 11 children.
He was proceeded in death by his mother and father, as well as 2 of his brothers, and loving 1st wife Susan Desrosiers. Dave was lucky enough to find his 2nd love, leaving behind his wife Despene (Desi), granddaughter Maddie Wright of New Ipswich, son Eric and his girlfriend Mindy Donfro of Greenville, daughter Jennifer Lord and her fiancé Mark Tapply of New Ipswich, step grandsons Dalton, Cory, and Byron, and many brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces, and friends.
Dave worked for many years at Seppala and Aho Construction and Nightingale Roofing. Later in life he "went out on a limb" and started Dave's Tree Service. If you knew Dave you knew he had a sense of humor, always enjoying a good joke and laugh. You either loved him for his honesty or hated him for it. Dave always felt deeply for the wellbeing of others and would offer you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Dave, we hope "Some Young Thing" is waiting for you at the Pearly Gates.
