Elena Fiske Obituary
Temple, NH - Elena L. Fiske, passed away suddenly, at home, on January 19th, 2025.
The youngest of thirteen children, she was born on March 11th, 1961, and lived surrounded by her loving extended family in Temple, most all of her life. She is deeply missed by her husband, Chuck Sheasley, son Jacob Krulis, daughter Adrienne Krulinok (Krulis), three grandchildren, many siblings, nieces, nephews, a stepdaughter, and a lifetime of dear friends.
Though Temple remained her home base, her open adventurous spirit led her to travel to (and photograph) every corner of the globe. She was passionate about the outdoors, devoted to animals, and was a prolific and talented knitter. Her varied interests and life experience (following the band Phish, her nearly 30 year tenure with IBM, knitting baby hats for NICUs, reading anything and everything) allowed her to easily connect and relate to just about everyone she met.
Having just recently retired, she was looking forward to serving the Town of Temple, learning new craft skills, spending more time with her family, and traveling cross-country.
A service will be held in April, more details will be be published this spring.
Her family invite you to think of her whenever you are enjoying the outdoors, especially on Fiske Hill. Additionally, they invite you to donate to New Hampshire Audubon or Heifer International in her memory.
