Michael S Smith

AYER, MA - Michael S. Smith, 37 of Ayer, Mass. and formerly of Jaffrey, NH, died on November 26, 2012 at UMASS Medical Center in Worcester, MA as a result of injuries he received after being struck by a vehicle.
Michael was born on February 28, 1975 in Nashua, NH, son of Charles and Beulah (French) Smith. He was a 1994 graduate of Conant High School in Jaffrey, NH.
He worked for a year at Millipore in Jaffrey, NH before working for 6 years as a fabricator at Van Guard in New Ipswich, NH.
Some of Michael's hobbies included working on cars, spending time with friends, and just having a good time.
Michael was predeceased by his father on December 26, 2008.
He is survived by his mother, Beulah H. Smith, of Jaffrey, NH; two sisters, Melinda Powers of Jaffrey, NH and Mary Wakeman of Stoddard, NH; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
As per the request of Michael's family, there will be no calling hours.
Family and friends are warmly invited to celebrate Michael's life to be held in the hall at the American Legion, 20 Webster Street, Jaffrey, NH 03452 on Saturday, December 1st, 2012, beginning at 2:00 PM.
