Pauline Wood Obituary
Fitzwilliam, NH - Pauline Wood, 83, of Fitzwilliam, NH, passed away peacefully in the presence of her beloved family on Thursday, May 8, 2025. Born on September 30, 1941, in Framingham, MA, she was the daughter of the late Walter F. and Delpha C. (Cripps) Burrows.
A graduate of Antrim High School, class of 1959, Pauline embarked on a distinguished career at New Hampshire Ball Bearing in Peterborough, where she was esteemed for her professionalism and unwavering dedication. Over the course of 40 years, she excelled in various roles, including ship and packing supervisor and Rota assembly. Her passion, wit, and leadership were widely recognized.
Pauline valued time spent with her family and friends, engaging in activities such as bingo, board games, puzzles, knitting, crocheting, and watching game shows.
She is survived by her daughters Deborah Connell (Steve) and AnnMarie Coppo (Jim); sons James Jr. (Cathy), Richard (Theresa), and Andrew (Heidi); brother David Burrows; sister Frances Shackett; eleven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Pauline leaves behind cherished memories that will be deeply treasured by those who knew her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for both Pauline & James at St. Patrick Church, 89 Main Street, Jaffrey, NH 03452 on May 30, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Their burial will take place following the Mass at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 76 Stagecoach Rd, Bennington, NH 03442.
