Susan was a few years older than me but we would sometimes walk home from grade school together. We would stop at Susan's home on North st. first so she could change her clothes before continuing on to her grandparents home on Highland St. They were my neighbors. Susan would pick a location on her globe and I would be challenged to find it while Susan was changing her clothes. Sometimes I would play with Susan at her grandparents. She loved horses and had a collection of beautiful plastic horses we would play with. I have lived in the San Francisco Bay Area most of my adult life but often thought of Sudan. Coming across this obit. gave me an opportunity to remember those times shared with Susan. MY heart goes out to family.

My condolences to Susans family. I didn't know her but was intrigued by her obituary in the Union Leader as I have married into the Farrar family. I was told the family roots date back to Howland from the Mayflower. Family records of mine don't document the lineage so that is why I was so interested in reading about Susan.
In my family, I don't know anything past Stanley Farrar from Vermont who died in his 30's about 60 years ago. The son of Stanley Farrar, Robert, moved to NH where we grew up. Robert is deceased now, so I can't share this new found information to know if he has heard of Albert Farrar. If you ever feel like connecting to lean if we may be remotely related, I can be reached at [email protected]. I would have loved to have talked with Susan as she must have had such an interesting story to tell. Once again, my condolences and may her memory live on through you.

L this is Paul Shea. I was saddened to hear about sue`s passing. I lost my wife on July 11 of last year. I know how it goes. She was a great girl. I had more laughs with that girl and any other girl and come into the Vfw she was just a super person and a great personality and I always admire the fact. I think she was probably the same size when she passed that she was when she got out of high school you know she had a great smile and a beautiful wife, FaceTime, my friend I know how it is and you have flashes of it gets back to you, but life goes on again.
