Mr. Fred S. Reina age 91 years young of San Antonio passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2007. Mr. Reina and his brothers were all proud veterans of our U.S. Armed Forces. Mr. Reina was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Reina; parents: Federico and Angela Reina; brothers: Alfonso Reina Sr., Gilbert Reina, and George Reina. He is survived by his children: Ronald Reina and wife Les, Russell Reina and wife Becky, Eileen Reina-Mason, Gilda Klonek and husband Ralph, Randy Reina and wife Bonnie; brother, Louis Reina and wife Delia; sister, Bertha Schement and husband Vincent; grandchildren: Monica Reina, Camille Reina, David Reina, Dawn Mason, Brian Reina, Erica Reina, Ryan Klonek, Crystal Klonek, Brandy Reina, Matthew Reina, George Espinoza, and Les Cantu; great-grandchildren: Aaron Rodriguez, Jeremy Rodriguez, Giovanni Espinoza, Luciano Cantu, Amore Cantu, Xavier Espinoza, Elissa Alexandra Mason-Bizzell. Visitation will begin Sunday at 4:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be offered Monday at 8:30 A.M. at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower. Immediately following the mass, Mr. Reina will be laid to eternal rest with his beloved wife Alice at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. The U.S. Air Force will present military honors. If desired memorial contributions may be made to the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower, 824 Kentucky Ave., San Antonio, TX 78201.
