(Ret) LTC James “Jim” Edward Knutson

Jim was a great man. Such a tremendous father, husband and soldier. I will miss him dearly. See you on the High Ground brother.

My fondest memories are those of my younger years spent with Aunt Agnes and Uncle Raymond and their kids. I was younger than Jackie, Butch, Jim and Paul so wasn´t as close as my older siblings. But watching their lives enter twine and grow truly influenced my growth as a loving and caring person. Jim was a force to be reckoned with from the start. I was of course impressed with his accomplishments, but mostly his character. I miss those carefree days of our youth. Hide and seek in the dark, anti I over the Quonset and all the holidays spent together. Our family was truly blessed to have these memories to cherish. God bless your soul Jim. You will always be in our hearts.

I´ll always have a lot of good memories of playing sports with Jim. I´m happy that I was able to have a good visit with him a few years ago in Bismarck.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will keep you in our prayers and thoughts. Jim was a great and interesting guy to visit with, always a laugh. So shocked to hear of his passing. He is at Peace.
