I had the great fortune of doing some work with Mr. Baker, and getting his guidance, in my previous position at the NIH Office of AIDS Research. I was especially sad to learn about his passing. He was a wonderful and empathic person and advocate, who moved mountains with his efforts to destigmatize HIV/AIDS. I was so honored to have an opportunity to get his guidance and expertise. He was such an inspiration to me! I send my sincere condolences to his family and friends.
