A.D. (David) Garris, 88, beloved husband, father and grandfather was called to heaven on March 13, 2017. He entered this world on December 9, 1928 in Runnelstown, MS born to Lonnie and Willie Garris. David was preceded in death by his first wife, Renee. David is survived by his second wife, Celia; daughter, Roxanne Salsmen and husband, Glenn; sons, Brett Garris and wife, Debbi, Vance Garris and Kirk Garris; sister, Peggy West and husband, Sid. David is survived by grandchildren, Aaron Bell and wife, Donna, Megan Kulju and husband, Jason; great-grandchildren, Felicity Bell, J.J Kulju, Makenna Kulju, Mallory Kulju, Sean Kehoe and wife, Lisa, Siobhan Kehoe, Brendon Kehoe and wife, Renee; step-daughters, Terry Chambers, Carmen Mora, Sylvia Guerra and husband, Lencho, Christina Holcomb and husband, Danny; step-sons, Ruben Quesada and wife, Christina, and Joe Quesada; grandchildren, Erik Chambers and wife, Ghalia, David Mora and wife, Veronica, Jaime Mora and wife, Valerie, Daniel Mora, Jacob Quesada and fianc?e, Sylvia, Andy Quesada and fianc?e, Jessica, Erik Quesada, Alex Guerra, Celine Guerra, and Megan Holcomb; great-grandchildren, Carter Chambers, Layla Chambers, Aaron Mora, Ryan Mora, Caleb Quesada, Nicholas Quesada and wife, Celia. David was loved by all who knew him and a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2017, 3:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas. Interment will be held Tuesday, March 21, 2017, 1:30 p.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Honorary Pallbearers will be Brett Garris, Glenn Salsmen, Aaron Bell, Joe Quesada and Danny Holcomb.
