It is with profound sadness and grief that the family of Adolph Thomas Cyr, age 80, of Methuen, Massachusetts, announce his passing on August 24, 2025, peacefully at home. He was the devoted husband of Marilyn (Nevaras) Cyr for 54 years.

Tom was born on April 16, 1945, in Waterbury, Connecticut, the son of the late Adolphe and Anna (Spallone) Cyr. He was a graduate of Croft High School, then went on to join the U.S. Navy where he served from 1964 through 1968 earning the Vietnam Service medal with 3 bronze stars as well as other awards. After discharge, he briefly returned to Waterbury before attending East Coast Aero Technical School in Bedford, MA, earning his FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.

It was during this time when Tom and Marilyn met, they married and after moving to Billerica, MA began a lifelong adventure. They became the proud parents of 3 wonderful girls, watching as they matured and became successful professionals with families of their own.

Tom began working for A.B. Dick Co. out of their Waltham, MA branch office, leaving the company after 11 years as an account executive. From there, in 1982, he opened his own printing business in the Boston medical area, growing it to 4 locations before selling in 2008 after 26 years. He then worked briefly for the Dept. of Defense before retiring permanently in 2013.

Tom was an avid boater, a retired member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, a member of the VFW (Veteran of Foreign Wars), American Legion and life member of the DAV (Disabled American Veterans). He enjoyed life with Marilyn at their over 55 community in Methuen, MA as well as winters at their Pompano Beach, FL home.

Tom was exceptional in almost every way, but he excelled the most at being a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Nothing made Tom happier than being surrounded by his family. He will be forever missed by all those who were blessed to know and love him.

Left to cherish his memory besides his wife, Marilyn, are his children, Nicole Cronin and her husband Michael, Courtney Wiseman and her husband Eric, and Bethany Bagger and her husband Mitch; and also his 3 grandchildren, Dylan Wiseman, and Beau and Brody Bagger.

Family and friends will gather for visiting hours at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Street, Methuen, MA on Wednesday, September 3rd from 4:00pm - 7:00pm with a prayer service and military honors at 7:00pm in the funeral home chapel. You were like a father to me, and I´m so grateful for the time we shared. You left us too soon, and it feels like we still had so much left to do together. You were a wonderful Papa to the boys, and I know you´ll be watching over us. Thank you for all the moments and memories-we love you and miss you deeply.
