Ash/Nicholson Family,

Well it seems lately our contact has only been in tragedy. Aaron was our cousin and all though as we have all gotten older and moved forward with our lives we are not as close as when we were all kids but the love is still there in our hearts. I remember being at Stella Mae's as kids and the fun we all had. Aaron was such a good person and he will be dearly missed. Betty, you are in our hearts, minds and prayers as well as his wife and children.

The pastor and members of the Pentecostal Church of God extends heartfelt sympathy to the family of Aaron Ash.

You will miss your loved one, but God of all creation has promised in St. John 14:18, “I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” It is natural to hurt and cry but remember, God has not left you nor has He forsaken you. He will not put more upon us that we are able to bear.

Be encouraged and look unto the hills from whence cometh our help, our help cometh from the Lord of Heaven and Earth.

I am so very sorry for the lost of your only son. God took him away for a reason. My heart goes out to you. I know first hand what you are going through, remember I have lost two (2) sons within the last 8 years. I am really feeling your pain and sorrow. You are not suppose to ask WHY, but I do everyday of my life. I was finally getting over the shock of losing Joshua, than another shock - losing Jason. Only God know WHY!!! Remember the Lord will bless you and your family with the ability to let go of what has caused you pain one day and will give you peace of mind. God is truly good and he is with you each and every day.

I worked with Aaron for a while with Lakeville Motor Express. We got to know him in the way he spoke about the love for his family and homelife. He was immediately missed when he left to work for UPS...and now, sadly, missed once again from our hearts and lives. We'll all miss the likes of Aaron D. Ash.

I've been lucky to know Aaron almost all my life. I too, played little league baseball with him as a young kid and kept a friendship with him since then. I'm still in shock of this all but I don't question the Lord and his intentions. For his mom, wife and kids(and family), I say to be strong like he was and keep those wonderful memories of Aaron in your hearts. I know I will.

Evonne, our prayers and thoughts are with you, the kids, and Aaron. I've known you such a short while, but it feels like a lifetime. Ronald and Aaron were such good friends that he's the reason we brought our home by you guys, so our kids could play together and Aaron and Ron could get their "six pack of muscles on!" Evonne, please find comfort in knowing Aaron is with the Lord now and at peace. Know that you'll aways be a part of the "click" and we are always here for you, whenever you need us just call, we love you all!

My deepest condolences to the Ash family. I grew up in Davenport in the same neighborhood as Aaron and played little league baseball with him. He and my brother Willie Smith were really close friends and I have fond memories of us three hanging out together. Keep your heads to the sky for understanding and consolation. ALWAYS remember God puts no more on you than you can bear.

My condolences go out to Aaron's family, his mother, children, and wife...I am so so sorry for your loss. Aaron was a really good friend of mine all thru Jr High and High School. Even though our paths rarely crossed after graduation I still consider him a really good friend. My sadness however could never compare to the Ash family's loss, so my heart goes out to you all. Thank you for sharing with us, such a sweet, and fun person. I will always remember that humongous smile.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to the entire Ash family.
I was fortunate enough to have known Aaron since we were 7 and 8 years old. We played Little League together at Junge Park as kids, and remained friends through high school and beyond.
He was one of those kids who could have chosen an easier, less-disciplined path in life, but didn't.
He was a hard worker and it always made me extremely proud to see what he had accomplished in life and the person he became.
He was a very good man.

A quick story: When Aaron was 12, he quit our baseball team for personal reasons. After a week, he changed his mind and wanted to come back. Our coach let the team vote whether he could rejoin or not.

It was unanimous. We all voted Aaron back - and eventually he went on to play for the Central Little League All-Star team.

He is already missed ... and we all lost a great guy.

Evonne, I love you and the kids! I am praying for you guys and I know everything will be fine! Keep your head up!
