Aaron Farkas Obituary
Aaron has worked in the construction business for the past 10 years. He was an off-road enthusiast and enjoyed riding BMX bikes. He was a drummer in two bands; The Warned and Roots Run Deep.and did fabrication. Aaron enjoyed sports, especially baseball and football and also did some fabrication.
He is survived by his fiancee Jennifer Kowalow of Escondido, CA. Father and Stepmother Gregory and Cindy Farkas of Temecula; Mother and Stepfather Cindy and Gary Lake of Escondido; Sisters, Heather Farkas of Escondido, Amanda Chouinard of Temecula and Lauren Lake of Escondido; Brother Jacob Farkas of Temecula; Grandparents, Bertha and Everett Lake, Nicholas and Virginia Farkas and Ray and Dolores Roby. He is also survived by his one and only nephew, Cason Oftedal.
Visistation will be held from 5 to 8pm on Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Broadway Baptist Church. A celebration of life service will be held at the Farkas/Lake residence at 5pm on Saturday, August 21, 2010. Private interment will be held at Oak Hill Memorial Park.
Arrangements under the direction of McLeod Mortuary-Escondido Chapel, Escondido, CA.

Wow, what can we say that hasn't already been said many times over? It leaves me virtually speechless and my heart is filled with grief and sympathy for everyone affected. I didn't know Aaron very well but he is family, my cousin Cindy's step son and I can't even begin to immagine the loss you guys must feel because it's too painful for me to even try. So Cindy, Greggo, Amanda, Heather, and Jacob, please know our thoughts and prayers go out to you and the rest of the family. I can only hope that every day gets a little better, because it will never be easy. As for me and my lesson learned from this tragedy is to stay close to family and friends, stop putting it off for another day and time. What if that day and time is too late? Then, all you have is regret.
