Aaron ORLIK Obituary
It is with profound sadness that Aaron's family announce his sudden and tragic passing at age 50 on August 31, 2016, doing what he loved best. Predeceased by his loving parents Kurt and Joan Orlik (Rodgers), adored youngest brother of Mark, David (Suzanne), Julie Fine (Jeffrey) and Joel (Barbara). Boyfriend of Kim McCorkell. Loving (crazy) uncle to Natasha, Nadine van der Starren (Randy), Crystal, Neil (Kelsey), Gary, Adam, and Ryan. Great-uncle to Heather, Zach, Cameron, Quinn and Noah. Family and friends are invited to visit at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, on Wednesday, September 7 from 4 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service in the Chapel at 7 p.m. followed by a Reception. Shiva on Thursday, September 8 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., and Friday from 1-4 p.m., at the home of Julie Fine, 8 Aldridge Way, Nepean. Donations in lieu of flowers to Kurt & Joan Orlik Family Fund (OJCF.ca) or the Ottawa Humane Society (ottawahumane.ca).

Aaron, you are truly a genuine soul. I am blessed that through Donny, you became a dear friend of mine too. He always talked highly of you and quite often shared stories of you that would always entail a good laugh. Donny adored you....and I adored you too. We are so grateful that you were a part of our lives. We are so thankful to have met such an amazing, caring, gentle, kind-hearted and funny man. Our lives will never be the same and your memory will live on in our thoughts and prayers forever. We hope you knew how much you were loved dear friend. A humble, simple man you were, with a heart filled with love and laughter.
We will remember our evenings in the market with you wearing fake teeth, smiling at everyone walking by. The looks you would you receive and the laughs you would set off were absolutely priceless. It was an honour to be your friend. It was an and honour to ride with you. You were an exceptional, talented rider who rode with grace. Your memory will live on forever.

Very sad day when I heard of your passing. I sat there and thought of the time when we were experimenting with spices for our steaks on the BBQ, you then used one of our experiments at your brothers butchery. Big heart ,smile ,laugh and most of all he liked to help people figure out there mechanical issues. His curiosity and passion for motorcycles was endless. Aaron will be sadly missed not only in Ottawa but for miles around he had friends every where. Rest in peace Bud ....

Eventhough it's been awhile since I've seen Aaron..I do have many fond memories of times past.
He was the first and only to allow me to ride his Harley.. He said " junk your Kawi, and ride a real bike", eventhough he owned a Suzuki of his own...
Aaron was a great guy to know, funny, thoughtful and crazy guy.
Thanks for being there for my son's , Jake and Dylan.
Your memory will be with me when I ride.
