Aaron Joseph Wedel

November 4, 1982- June 4, 2009

The life of Aaron Joseph Wedel, 26, formerly of Bryan, came to a tragic end on June 4, 2009 in Phoenix, Arizona.

A memorial service will be set for a later date at Memorial Funeral Home in Bryan, Texas.



No farewell words were spoken,
No time to say goodbye,
You were gone before we knew it,
and only God can tell us why.



Aaron was a noble man with a gentle soul. He was especially devoted to his two young sons and was a loving and caring father.

Their special bond was evident by all who came into contact with them. He had a thirst for life and learning. Aaron had completed school for radiology technician and recently graduated.

He had plans to return to Texas and make the best life possible for himself and his sons.
He also enjoyed working on cars, music, strumming his guitar, and being with family and friends.

Aaron is preceded in death by his father, William Joseph "Billy" Wedel, from which he inherited his beautiful blue eyes and contagious smile.

Survivors include his sons, Matthew and Jonathan Wedel ; mother, Carmen Washington; sister, Beth Washington and grandmother, Melva Washington, all of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandparents, JoAnn and Jimmie Wofford, of Hearne and Henry and Sherry Wedel, of Comfort, Texas; aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous family and friends.
