Abby Renee Bartels

The last time I saw Abby was right before she left for California, Michelle is my best friend, we were running last minute errands with Abby. She was by far one of the sweetest funniest people I've ever met. Viki, you did a great job raising all of your girls.. I love your whole family

I didn't know Abby either, but my brother did and said she was cool. I know Michelle though. I'm sure Abby was just as nice and awesome as Michelle. Just remember she's in God's love and care now.

I did not know Abby, but i've known Michelle. I'm sure Abby was like Michelle. Just know she is in the best place she can be in, with the Savior.

I didn't know Abby but I know her sister Michelle and I know that if she was anything like Michelle, she was a wonderful, kind, loving, person who everybody loved to be around.

I was one of Abby's nurses at Children's Mercy Hospital. She called up to the floor the weekend before she passed away and she and I got to talk for awhile. She told me how much fun she was having out in CA. I will miss getting to help take care of Abby and seeing her beautiful smile, but it's comforting to know that she's gone home to be with Jesus.

Dear Vicki and family,

Abby had a definite impact on anyone's life that she came in contact with. She was one of the few people I had the opportunity to meet and build a friendship with that had cystic fibrosis as well. She was an ultimate blessing to me and anyone else that had known her. May God bless you and be with you in this time of hardship.

Abby was most definatly a SUPER kid! and she will be missed by all, I enjoyed seeing her big smile every day in yearbook! We definatly had awesome times at junior years prom, and during our stay in Washington DC for our journalism trip! She will be greatly missed! She is in a better place, with the freedom of pain!

Vickie - Abby was such a wonderful angel that passed through my hands - and I feel blessed to have known her and to have worked with her as her gymnastics coach. She was such an inspiration to all that were lucky enough to know her. The Lord has gained a beautiful spirit. She will be missed.

Vicki I had many good talks and mcny laughs with Abby. She was such a delightful girl. She had such spunk and a great attitude. Abby was a great person with a great heart and I am going to miss her so much. She was like a sister to me and I will never forget her or all the memories we shared. I will keep Abby and your family in my prayers forever.
