I didnt really know Abby very well..but was honoured at her
Request to photograph me..
She had met me in Squirell Hill
Where i was playing my violin
Yes, she is the stars, the sun and the moon
The photos she took introduced me to a love for my
being; the person looking back from those photographs is someone i want to know. To love.
I was walking my dog in Frick park, and sat on a bench overlooking the Great Creators
Natural world
When i turned to see that i was there with Abby, with her spirit
As that bench was placed in memory of her
I didnt know,
She gtaced my life years ago with her presense. Her talent, her ability to see so muchbthrough tat lense that is her spirit
Thank You Abby

Abby could light up any room with her smile and laughter. I have endless fond memories of Abby throughout the time we spent together at Hyde. She was always a voice of reason for me, so balanced and had an exceptional ability to put things in perspective when they felt out of control. The world was so lucky to have Abby for amazing 33 years and she will forever be loved and missed.

Abby had a loving and kind spirit that was palpable from the first hello. Her photographs embodied the qualities I always experienced with her: Love, compassion, introspection, sharing, giving, kind, empathetic. This is a huge loss for everyone. I am deeply saddened and feel lucky to have spent a little bit of time mentoring Abby when she was starting her photographic career. Her images had a deep and soulful feeling and message. Her photographs will always speak to me. For that, I am lucky. I miss you deeply, Abby. RIP.

Dear Family, I am so sorry to hear this news today (1/13) and of your loss.
I first met Abby when she was in high school and came to volunteer for the East End Cooperative Ministry Food Pantry Monday thru Friday afternoons when I directed the volunteer services there. She was a bright star in our day and greeted the guests and packed the groceries with compassion and love.
I was volunteer director at the Homeless Children's Education Fund when she joined our team helping with the children's program and expertly photographed our annual Champons for Children Gala in the Ruvers Club downtown.
We missed her very much when she moved to NYC.
I loved her and am grateful to have been her friend. May the happy memories bring you comfort and peace.
Love, Susy Robison [email protected]

I'm so very, very sorry for your great loss. She fit so much adventure and life into her short time on Earth, it's almost as if her soul knew her time was limited. May you find peace in the memories of her laughter, her work and her love for you.
