My heart breaks to hear the news on the passing of Abby. I met Abby in Ft. Lauderdale, FL on a trip for my sister in laws bachelorette. Before meeting Abby, I felt her amazing persona from afar and I wanted to talk to her. But her being bold and courageous came up to 6 girls and said hello first! Wow. Just wow. She became our friend and hung out with us the whole weekend. We made beautiful and fun memories that I will cherish forever. Thank you Abby for coming up to us, it was fate to have met your beautiful soul.

Abby was one of the first friends I met after moving to South Florida. She was someone I instantly gravitated to because of her infectious smile, caring energy and contagious laughter. We loved exploring our new home together and trying new restaurants, wine bars and farmers markets. I always admired how fearless Abby was in trying new things. Whether it was taking hip-hop classes, joining beach volleyball leagues, or going to run clubs, Abby´s adventurous nature was such a light and so inspiring. I feel so lucky to have met and gotten so close to her in a short amount of time. She brought me and our Florida friends so much joy and was the most incredible friend to us. I will cherish our memories forever and miss her dearly. Sending love to all of her family and friends.

Abby and I worked together for a few years at Highspot. She was always the most kind, wonderful person to be around and lit up the room. She kept work light and fun and was such a good teammate. Will truly miss Abby and her thoughtful loving personality. Sending love and prayers toward her family and loved ones.

Abby was on my team of direct reports at Highspot - outside of her amazing work she did, she was such a great presence on the team. So funny, fun, kind, and positive. She always brightened the room without fail. My condolences to family and friends of Abby - she will be missed.

Abby was a special kind of person you don´t come across often and I´m so blessed to have called her my friend. She radiated of kindness, love, and care. Every room she´d walk into she´d quickly bring you to a wide smile. Truly never a dull moment spent together and she single handedly was the funniest person I´ve met. Abby is forever loved and missed dearly.

Sending much love and thoughts to her family, friends, and all who got to know her. Our hearts are forever touched by her.

Abby was a true light - a constant source of joy, compassion, humor, and love. She is simply one-of-a-kind. She brought so much happiness to many people, especially her Florida girls. No one could make us laugh or smile harder. I am beyond thankful for all the memories we have with sweet Abby and the precious time we spent together. She is and always will be in our hearts; a person like her is, simply, never forgotten. Sending lots of love to her family, friends, and everyone else who had the pleasure of knowing and loving her.

after years of looking up to Abby while playing basketball, my freshman year I finally got to be on a team with her. As intimidated as I was of playing with her and the older girls, she quickly eliminated my fears with her big smile and open arms, she always made sure I knew had a seat at the table. She had a beautiful spirit on and off the court. My last memory of her was when I went down to Seattle and spent the night with her and Shelby in the apartment that they shared. We went to a brewery where she shared that she was making the move out of Seattle and how excited she was for her next chapter! To get our buzzed selves home we obviously needed to get on some motorized lime bikes, next thing you know Shelby sends hers full speed into a bush and crashes, I can still hear Abby´s laugh from that night. My heart is with her family in friends in this time, know that we are lifting you up every day. Thank you Abby for your love and light!

Abby was an absolute gem to get to know and coach on and off the volleyball court. She was one I could count on to boost team morale and spread laughter. She knew the game of volleyball well but more importantly, she knew how to be an excellent leader and teammate. I learned so much from my time as her coach and am forever grateful. Her legacy will live on

I had the pleasure of acting as Abby´s mentor at work, and she quickly turned to be my Carnival partner in crime. Abby taught me so much about myself. How to be a leader, patience, not taking things too seriously. And she made every day an exciting one. I loved coming into the office every day and working with her, her smile was infectious and it made a lasting impression on everyone at Carnival also. Work is how we met, but we got to become great friends outside of it as well. She cared so much for everyone around her, and she truly was such a light. I remember I was sick a couple weeks ago, and she asked a friend for my address so she could bring me soup. That´s how much she cared. She truly was beautiful inside and out, and made everyone laugh like no other. I´ll miss her every day.

My love goes out to her and all her loved ones, and I wanted to share that Carnival and all her clients have expressed condolences to you all as well. She will be deeply missed.

Abby was the type of friend that always made sure you felt important. Whether you needed a confidence boost, feeling down, or needed a laugh. Abby always made sure it happened! She had a way of making everything brighter and more meaningful. The ultimate hype woman. I´m so grateful for the time we got to spend together filled with laughter until our stomachs physically hurt. She will be greatly missed.

I had the absolute privilege of getting to know Abby. Although our time together was brief in perspective, we shared a myriad of core memories in that time. There was never a moment where she didn´t always exude pure joy; it warms my heart that a lot of you share that sentiment - potatoes make potatoes. To her family, i offer my deepest condolences you all have done an amazing job raising a truly special woman, i´ve heard nothing but great things about you all. It was truly a pleasure.

My favorite memory of Abby was when I went to Ferndale to celebrate Tay´s bridal shower and really got to know the family... sitting on the porch drinking coffee and enjoying the gorgeous views. But mostly the whole family, thinking to myself - now this is how you do it! Great friends pitching in at every turn, great family doing the same and amazing kids! Abby was so beautiful, charming, fun and intelligent. She was such a package. I wish she could have seen that...my heart breaks for her.

Wendy and Scott - you guys are such a loving family and we couldn´t be more proud to have you as our extended family. We surround you with love like you´ve done with us . We love you

I feel so fortunate to have known and spent beautiful times with Abby. Our friendship on and off the volleyball court was truly one of the best parts of high school. Driving all over WA for games and practices, Vegas, doing P90x in the basement, celebrating our birthday together, the last time we met up and you snuck off to pay for our lunch. The grief felt by your loss is so deep. Abby your laugh, presence and ability to make people feel loved is something rare and will forever live on. May you be at peace my friend. My heart goes out to Wendy, Scott & Taylor and all of her close friends and family.

Having met Abby in the 7th grade, I was immediately envious of how perfect she was. She was so athletic, so freaking smart and on top of it all she was so kind and had an amazing sense of humor. Truly she was one of the funniest people I still have met to this day, I can still hear her laugh. I´m so honored to have been friends and teammates with Abby. She was such a positive light for anyone who knew her. This doesn´t feel real. Sending so much love to Scott, Wendy and Taylor

Abby & I in Key West, FL for the 4th of July, 2024.

My relationship with Abby started when she decided to join the Apex Systems team. We quickly became friends outside of work. I had the chance to get to know her on our drive to/ from the Apex holiday party, we celebrated her birthday & then mine a week later back in February, and have countless memories since. The Key West trip this past July gave me the chance to bond with Abby even more. It's apparent how kind of a soul she was, and how she truly accepted you for who you are. Abby had such an infectious smile and contagious laugh that I will never forget.

Thank you for impacting my life for the better, your memory will live on forever.

Love,
Farrah

I was fortunate enough to have met Abby through Apex and work with her over the past year. She was always smiling, cheerful, and so thoughtful of others...truly every interaction I had with her was a positive one. She made everyone feel special and went out of her way to do so. I have heard so many stories from so many colleagues who had interactions with her, both big and small, but all with the same feeling. I know she would have gone on to do great things but she made a lasting impact in her time. We are all better to have known her and we will miss her.

I had the pleasure of meeting Abby when she started at Apex in Training. The first thing that caught my attention was her energy, her smile, and her overall bubbly personality. Every time I met her or spoke with her, I experienced the same joy, and her smile was definitely infectious. I never walked away from a conversation or a meeting with her without being in a better mood!

She had a positive effect on so many peoples. As a parent, sibling, and family member myself-I cannot imagine the pain you all are going through. I just hope that you are able to find some warmth in the memories of her smile, her laughter, and all those special times that you had together!

It´s so hard to find out this has happened. Abby was a bright light, a positive influence to everyone. Playing basketball with her was so fun and hearing her laugh was contagious! The few classes we had together in high school, she was just so helpful and nice. She will be truly missed by everyone. Class of 2015

Abby started working at Apex just 2 weeks after I started. She was my first friend, and one of my few friends at work. We clicked instantly from day one because she was real, genuine, and truly cared. She was a beautiful person inside and out who lit up the room wherever she went. Her jokes always brought a smile to everyone's face, and she made working on-site (which she knew I dreaded) fun. I met Abby nearly a year but it was enough time to get close to her and I'll carry her in my heart forever. Abby taught me that "blood is blood, but family is a choice", because her family always put it the effort to stay close together and they all loved each other very much. This quote stuck from me from the moment she said it, and it's something I want to pass along when I build my own famiy. I'm forever grateful for Abby's friendship, support, and endless laughter.

Sending love and strength to her family through these terrible times.

There werw so many times Abby made me smile and laugh but it was usually on the basketball court or practice. She had a way of getting me out of my head and out of a funk.

The best way I could describe her is golden. Warm, caring, and amazing inside and out. My heart breaks for the world to have lost a beautiful soul. Rest in peace, honey. You were loved, and you will be missed.

When Abby first started at Apex, I had the pleasure of working with her during training and even a few times following. Even though it was a short time that I worked with and knew Abby, what I know is she was such a positive person and truly a shining light. And I know in what short time she was with us, she made such a positive impact on everyone around her and always had a smile on her face. Sending my thoughts and prayers to the Reid Family. Abby was such a light. I got to know her through mutual friends, and got to spend more time with her in Seattle when we would have group girl dates, watch the Bachelor, or run around the city as a group. Abby was goofy and so fun to be around. Always cared to catch up with me whenever we got the chance to see each other again. Abby - Sweet little! You always made others laugh and lit up every room you walked into. So many memories I have when you´d make Kylee & I smile and laugh until we cried. Most of the time you didn´t even know it - you were naturally so funny. To this day we still reminisce on the late nights and next day mornings in Pullman. Your brightness will always shine on.
