MARY IVA DAVENPORT
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Trueman Alvie Davenport; five brothers: Cecil, Bill, Durwood, Elmer, and Clyde McKinny; two sisters, Gladys Leck and Eva Cowey; and a son-in-law, Bob Day.
She is survived by two daughters, Joy Day of Nixon, and Lanelle Koliba and husband Erwin of Port Lavaca; three grandsons, Henry Paul Dingler and wife Pat, Curt Day, Chris Day and wife Leslie; two great-grandchildren, Dillon Lane Dingler and Hanan Jaks Day; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Viewing and visitation will be held from 1-8 p.m. today, with family receiving friends from 5-8 p.m., at Finch Funeral Chapel in Nixon.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, at the chapel in Nixon, with the Rev. Don Hessong officiating. Burial will follow in the Dewville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Union Valley Baptist Church or Dewville Cemetery Association.
