The first football game I ever saw. My Dad told me we were going to watch "Little Abner." I watched him play for North Texas and the Texans and was heart broken when the team moved to Kansas City. Thanks for the memories Abner.

I was 12 years old when I met Abner at the Dallas Texans first training camp in Roswell, NM. He had a great personality. He and I were roommates in Buffalo, Ny for Texans pre season game in 1960 against the Bills. My prayers and condolences go to his family.
