Dr Palmer will be missed by many Christians I know. I was so glad that we had the opportunity to have his as our interim three different times at Satsuma Baptist. He taught me many things and I was honored to call him a friend. He will be missed.

My deepest sympathies for the loss of your dad. In his lifetime he touched so many lives and was such a great influence on so many people, including me and my family. I know that he had so many welcoming arms in Heaven from those he ministered to and lead to Christ those many years at Trenton FBC. Love to the family.

Dr. Palmer was such a wonderful example and Man of God to so many people and especially in our family. He has touched us in so many ways, ways that will forever live on in our lives. From being our Pastor, to marriage counselor, to friend and family he will be greatly missed. Dr. Palmer leaves very big shoes to fill and I only hope that one day our hearts shine as big as his did. Dr. Palmer you will be forever in our hearts and look forward to the day we will meet again.

I didn't really know Abe but, I know his children and I realize he was a good man from how his children grew to be adults. He left a great legacy and will be missed.

I was privileged to lead music in several revival meetings at FBC Trenton and thoroughly enjoyed my friendship with Abe Palmer. He is a treasured memory and great man.

Some of my earliest and most memorable moments are of my pastor AL Palmer. Hearing him preach, pound the pulpit, teach a lesson, lead a group of kids at VBS and Grand Oaks, driving a bunch of kids many places on the church bus, received his counsel as a new believer, received advice on a call to missions, where to go for college and seminary, help in how to preach a sermon, receiving letters of encouragement from him for many years. A very unforgettable person in my life. It was a joy to know him and sometimes a little uncomfortable when confronted with a truth that he had to share. I will miss him.

We will miss Bro. Abe so much. He was such a fine Christian gentleman. Anytime I had a Biblical question, he was my go to guy. We first met him at Eden Bap. Church and grew to love him through his work there. Just know the family is in our prayers. Linda & Herb Whitman, Denham Springs

He was a stalwart man of God. As our Interim Pastor at Satsuma, "First-Chair Saxophonist," and friend, he endeared himself to us. May God bless each of you, and may His Holy Spirit comfort you.

What a personal and faith-centered icon Dr. Palmer was in Trenton's little corner of the world and the bigger world at large! Well done, good and faithful servant of God.

I am John Anthony, news director and co owner
of KTTN Radio at Trenton, Mo which continues to broadcast the weekly church sermon of First Baptist at Trenton. Now it's recorded
to a CD. In Dr Palmer's time, it was live
on each Sunday morning. Ironically, the Trenton Rotary Club program today was presented by the current district governor who recognized by name the Trenton club for being home to two district governors: R Leroy Miller and A-L Palmer. I do remember this great man and leader. My sympathies to all in the family.
