On October 7, 2003, of Homewood; loving wife of Edward Shearer, Rochester, NY; beloved mother of James Fitzpatrick, Robert E. Dozier, Clarice Virginia Austin and Linda Montee Carter; grandmother of Tracy, Gordon Craig and Stacy Lynn Austin, Horace Michael and Lamar Josef Carter and Kimberly Dozier of CA; caring sister of Eleanor Benjamin; also a host of great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Visitation Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm SPRIGGS-WATSON FUNERAL HOME, 720 N. Lang Avenue, E. E. Funeral Service Saturday 11am Bethany Baptist Church, interment Homewood Cemetery.
